This is an excellent point. As I’m up earlier than a normal first shift, I’m at higher risk for shift sleep disorder (defined by working earlier than 7am and later than 6pm. Because sometimes I work before 7 and after 6 all in the same day.

either option will be bad for some people. It also depends on where in the time zone you are. Both Far East and far west as well as latitude
