Brown:
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-3 T. oil
1-2 c. chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
Mix and then add to the cooking pan:
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. water
2 T. tomato paste
1/4 t. nutmeg
2 t. chili powder
Stir until combined. Then add:
2 bouillon cubes (optional)
steamed cubes of squash and/or zucchini
Gradually add until the sauce is the desired consistency:
1-3 c. milk/cream
salt and pepper to taste
Serve with rice or pita bread or homemade whole wheat tortillas.
