Interesting about the rashes. I used disposables (diapers and wipes) while on vacation last week and the rashes really cleared up except for one morning he accidentally sat in a poopy for a while, which healed quickly with a good wipe and a day of Desitin. Stripping the cloth diapers helped a ton but he still seems prone to rashes, especially after poops. (They look like contact dermatitis...he gets a rash wherever the poo touches, not just a ring of red although I have to wonder if there's some allergy/sensitivity I just can't figure out.) Now I'm wondering if using a gentle wipe solution rather than just water would help that...

I just use water, baby oil, and baby wash. I don't use TTO but I know many moms that do!

The main thing about lavendar and TTO for us is that we're allergic to both.
I recommend washcloths sooner than flannel. Old baby towels can be cut up, or any washcloths...baby or adult.
