My produce tally - Shameless Brag!
While reorganizing the freezer tonight, I decided to tally the produce that I put up this season. Most of it is in the freezer, but I did manage to can/dehydrate a bit, too.
Veggies: *Broccoli: 7 gal size bags *Green Beans: 2 gal size bags +Peppers (sweet and hot): 8 sandwich size bags *Spinach: 2 qt size bags Fruit: ^Apples: 6 qts applesauce, 1 batch fruit leather *Grapes: 22 half-pints of jelly, 2 ice cube trays of juice, 1/2 tray fruit leather ^Peaches: 30 bags with 2 peaches ea, 2 ice cube trays of puree for baby food, 5 pt size jars of puree, 1 tray fruit leather *+Tomatoes: 24 sandwich size bags of diced tomatoes (equivalent to a small can of diced tomatoes), 7 dehydrator trays * is stuff I grew in my garden ^ is stuff grown by family/friends that I harvested myself + is purchased from the farmer's market Apples, grapes and peaches were a cooperative effort where I got help with the project and then split the results. Next I need to get my rose hips done, then I'm gonna start working on soapmaking!

Um, yeah. Those are totally half-pint jars of grape jelly, not full pints.
Working on my rose hip syrup now. It should come out to about 4 half-pint jars.
