Freezing Milk

What's the best way?

I'm currently getting it from the farmer's market, and since it's more expensive I'd like to freeze some. It comes in plastic gallons, but i figured those would potentially explode!

We freeze milk in the carton. If yours arrive very full, you'd want to pour off a bit, first.

Thanks! I was wondering if introducing air to the carton would spoil it in some way! Good to know it's so easy

We freeze milk in the plastic jugs it comes in.

We open it up, pour some out to allow for expansion and freeze. Just make sure to give yourself ample time to thaw.
