Default What do I do with an arm roast, and other cuts of meat...

sitting in my freezer? I'm not a big fan of meat, but I want to use this stuff up...we got it from a local farm 9 months ago....black angus. I need meal ideas...here's what I have:

1 arm roast
1 chuck roast
round steaks
short ribs
some sort of flank...

Thanks for any ideas you can send my way!!

The roasts turn out quite well in the crock pot. If you want to eat them as roast-roast, season and sear in a pan on all sides before tossing them in the crock pot. I usually add onions and a little beef broth. If you don't feel like searing or seasoning before you cook them, roasts make excellent shredded beef for tacos, BBQ Beef, Enchiladas, etc.

Steaks can be seasoned and pan-fried, but if you're not a huge fan of STEEEEAAAK!!!! (we like it here... ), you could always chop it up and use as really really really high quality stir fry.

Of course, if you decide you absolutely.can.not.stand red meat and must have it out of your house, I know a really tall guy and a really short gal who think red meat is as good as dessert.

wow, thank you! i hadn't thought of shredding this junk...err, i mean stuff up for enchiladas, etc. that sounds AWESOME! DH would be thrilled!

Yeah, we're not really meat eaters around here. But this stuff is supposedly amazing...organic, grass fed, black angus. local.

And, yeah, if we feel extra generous, maybe i'll send you home with some round steaks
