Re: October Dinners
That sounds really good, Knitlove. (I LOVE pot pie! And it's soup weather. Sounds like the perfect combo.)
We're out of the house all afternoon so I'm putting Green Chicken Chili in the IP for tonight.

Re: October Dinners
I made chicken pot pie yesterday and made a small batch of soup from the leftover filling! I ate some today mixed with rice.
Dinner today was spaghetti casserole and green beans and salad.

Re: October Dinners
Margaret was sick again over the weekend and into the early week. She is missing the rest of school this week per their fever rules. (I'm not at all worried about it being covid). Fever broke on Tuesday and she was pretty much back to her bubbly self today.
Dinners have been kinda whatever though because of it. Now Cecilia seems to be coming down with it... Monday we had avocado toast with poached eggs and corn on cob Tuesday was air fryer sausage potatoes onion and peppers Today was sushi (take out) with asian pear salad doing a crock pot potato soup with french bread tomorrow. Probably a green salad.

Re: October Dinners
Tonight is burgers - meat for some - veggie for others. With avocado spread and side of roasted asparagus.
Ds leaves tomorrow for a weekend away with my sister and her family so probably should plan some meals he doesn't like for the weekend.

Re: October Dinners
We had a friend over for dinner last night so I made braciole with garlic broccoli, roasted spaghetti squash, and mashed potatoes.
Tonight I think I'm going to make sausage-stuffed mini peppers in the crock pot.
