Hoping everyone is safe from the Hurricane!

In in South Carolina and it's been a bit of a ride. We are all in good shape. My dd is without power except for a generator dh took to them. The upstate is a total mess. We usually get the western side of hurricanes and getting the eastern side of a cat 4 has packed a punch.

Prayers for all impacted.

We had light rain. The hurricane skirted our state. Our daughter and her husband had some heavy rain, but made it through fine.

My family or origin are in SC stated they are okay, but in the dark. Their town was hit hard from the photos I am seeing.

Now we brace to see where the Hurricane that is expected to be on much the same path on Oct 5th comes ashore.

I'm watching to as well. That could do in a lot of places that are just holding on.

So many towns were just wiped away. I have the peace of mind knowing my family is okay even though they are still in the dark and limited cell service, but there are so many people that are missing and their family has that worry on their minds along with losing their home.

I pray that Lord will turn the storm and let it die down.

I have an aquaintance who lives just south of Asheville and she says it's been horrific.
