Re: Wraps and SSCs
I LOVE Alyssa. I drooled over it when I was pregnant (that and Stella, which I think I loved even more). I was so close to getting it and then I went with a BBB instead of the stretch. But oh, it's so pretty! I think there are enough softer greens that it wouldn't look out of place with a girl.
Ooh, I like Frances too. I should stop looking or else hide my credit card from myself. |

Re: Wraps and SSCs
Can I recommend the Calin Bleu cotton wraps?!?
They are wonderful and cool And yet supportive, I was able to wear my son in it when he was over 10kg, on my back as well. You can't do back carries with stretchy wraps but you can with these. Have you looked at Manducas? They're awesome SSCs! Very, very well made (German design) and the waist is utterly comfy. I'm not small myself and it fits me really well. It comes with an infant bit so you can use them from birth. Baby is upright in it, as opposed to (older style?) Ergos with their infant insert. Plus the Manducas are designed to last for kiddies up to 20kg. I still wear my 4yo in one

The website pics don't do it justice--it's gorgeous, and the color is amazing! It's vibrant, and right between fuschia and purple--just my shade. I am so excited to use it! And it's long enough to fit well over the belly, which I am assuming means it's going to be fine and dandy with a baby person in it, too. |
