We had several leftover proteins, so everyone got their choice and I made smiley zucchini and onions and I sliced and fried up two leftover baked potatoes. I might have eaten most of those while I cooked

Last night we had tri-tip, scalloped potatoes, and a Caesar salad.

Tonight we're having friends over and having Fettuccine with Roasted Butternut Squash, Brown Butter & Sage, Crispy Balsamic Brussel Sprouts, and bread.

I have to bookmark that butternut squash recipe. It looks really good! It looks like we're going to have an abundance of butternut squash this year in our garden so I need more recipes!

Potato gnocchi with white beans spinach and sun dried tomatoes.
Margaret got her first period today. Happened while she was student helping one of the Pre-K ballet classes this morning. So that was a bit traumatic for her. I let her do her school work from home today. Luckily she bounced back from the morning events quickly. Late rehearsal for her this evening. She has requested a pbj with potato chips and a chocolate cupcake. I'm totally allowing it.

I've got mini bell peppers stuffed with turkey sausage simmering away in homemade marinara in my crockpot and it smells so good! There's a spaghetti squash in the IP to go alongside.

Last night we had BLTA's. I use an America's Test Kitchen recipe and it uses a lemon basil mayo....so yummy!
