Good free online virus scans/removals?

Our family computer . . . one of our boys has gotten into the habit of downloading every free game trial play he runs across and I didn't realize (I had found out about one game that I did buy for him because I knew he wanted it, but the others I was ) --they are all clean games, from family friendly sites, and apparently dh knew

But with them have come all sorts of garbage I'm trying to get out of there because now sites like Webkinz won't load So I spent an hour or more the other night doing removals but I need a good site for finding and removing viruses. I'd like to do what I can at home for free.

If I need to we have friends who can sweep the whole thing, but I don't want to bother them if I don't need to.
