Re: Water?
Found this which is helpful in my opinion. Plus 1 for the Berkey filters.

Re: Water?
We had a water filtration professional come to the house because the rusty water was ruining the plumbing (and my washcloths, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) He was testing the water to figure out which system to recommend. He tested the water from the faucet and we asked him to test the water from the Berkey for kicks. He had never seen one before and he was AMAZED.

Re: Water?
Berkey hands down! I want a second one for the upper level of our house. Lol
We use the black filters. They take out more contaminants than the ceramic ones. We also have the fluoride filters, but no longer need them due to a faulty city fluoride whatchamadoodaaddy. They stopped use fluoride for now. |
