Resource List-Please read me first!
If you have any helpful resources please share them in this thread.
My favorite resources are: For diabetics http://www.pcrm.org/health/diabetes/ The McDougall DVDs or videos The Food Revolution by John Robbins. A Plethora of facts and knowledgeable information. May All Be Fed by John Robbins. An older book of his and the book that started me on my personal journey. Diet for a New America Video by John Robbins. There is a book, as well. But, the video is a nice visual tool. Hope's Edge by Lappee. Beautiful book about food related programs that are changing the world. I love this book. It's a wonderful gift book. Supersize Me We like it. I'm not sure if it's a vegetarian video. I would say that it helps others to look at food in a different way. Good starter for those stubborn relatives. The Vegan Sourcebook by Stepaniak is good for anyone wanted to become Vegan or Becoming Vegan by Davis and Melina. I finally finished.. The China Study This was a very fact oriented book. I loved it, but it could be overwhelming. I really had to read it when I could concentrate on it. I might read it again because there was alot of information to absorb. Learning to cook again links, books, etc... I'm adding something new. http://www.compassionatecooks.com/ They have a DVD and podcasts. I have really, really enjoyed them. They now have a message board, too. Vegan cooking school http://www.podsumer.com/vegancookingschool podcast and blog with pictures! My new favorite cookbook is Vegan with a Vengeance. It is amazing. It uses whole foods that are easy to find and no egg subs or anything in the baking section. They have a website, too. theppk. com You will need to fix the link. It is not a Christian Site, so please be aware of that. They have great pictures on their forums of food from the cookbook. http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/ is an amazing blog. She has the best pictures for her recipes and the food is divine! Vegetarian shoes http://www.zappos.com/vegetarian.htm Vegan DHA, Omega 3's: http://www.nutrispeak.com/omega_3s__epa___dha.htm Vegetarian Children: http://www.vegfamily.com/babies-and-...g-toddlers.htm Veg Pregnancy: http://drfuhrman.com/disease/pregnancy.aspx Animal Ingredients: http://thirty5.org/ipod/ You can download this tool to your iPod, so it's always handy. Re: Resource List
I love the Hallelujah Diet (www.hacres.com)! It's a mostly raw, vegan lifestyle from a Biblical perspective. They have lots of great books and videos on their web site.

Re: Resource List
PETA's "I can't believe that's vegan!" list of common supermarket products, organized into categories like snacks, breakfast, condiments, frozen and refrigerated foods, etc." Wonderful resource!

Re: Resource List-Please read me first!
podcasts are audio broadcasts (is that the right way to splain it?) that you can download and listen to with an ipod or something similar, OR you can just click on the links and listen to them on the web. I like listening to them while I'm nursing baby and I play solitaire, LOL.
