Re: What are the must haves in your herbal medicine cabinet?
I only have eucalyptus oil in my house, we put it in the bath if someone has a stuffy nose and a few drops on a pillowcase (or a hanky in the pillowcase) when sleeping.
When I was a kid, mum used to put some in a bucket of boiling water and we had to sit with a towel over our heads and breathe in the vapour.

For dry skin problems, eczema, insect bites I use either Kirk's Castile soap or lye soap. Clears up most problems within 5 minutes to a few hours.

Re: What are the must haves in your herbal medicine cabinet?
Arnica homeopathic pellets is an absolute must here. I've seen it work wonders. Take right after major emotional shock 2-3 doses 20 min apart. Until symptoms begin to subside.
Take dose 2-3 times after any physical trauma to aid in quick healing (I've seen what should have been serious bruising simply stop after a single dose and get better within a fraction of the time. ) I'll be taking this right after birth. As is rescue remedy. I'm working on making chamomile tincture. I always have fresh garlic on hand. Wonderful for all things cold/flu/infection. I purée equal parts garlic, CO, EVOO, rub thin layer on feet and cover with old socks. For any kind of infection. I chop raw garlic into small chunks and swallow 4-6 times a day when dealing with sickness or infection. Also infused Garlic oil is wonderful for ear infections. Colloidal silver, take as directed daily to boost immune system. Bentonite clay Activated charcoal Elderberry syrup, take daily in flu season or when there is something going around, 1tsp for kids; 1tbls for adults. Take does 4 times a day when sick. For sore throat... In a pint jar place One lemon sliced, one inch square cube of fresh ginger root crushed, cover with local raw honey to just over the lemon, let sit at least 2hours, better if over night. Store in fridge. Good for 4-6weeks. Add 1tbls of mixture and 1tsp of cinnamon to 6oz hot water or hot peppermint tea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
