Re: January dinners
Tonight was spaghetti bolognaise. Tomorrow night will be roast chicken and veggies.
I really need to get a meal plan going. Does anyone have a meal plan they would like to share that can be adjusted as needed?

Re: January dinners
Tonight my mother-in-law is coming for dinner so we are having roast chicken and veggies.
I was going to have it a few nights ago but thought I would save it for today

Chicken breasts with apple gravy, cheddar rice, steamed cauliflower, sauteed apples tonight. Last night was Parmesan tilapia with red pepper sauce over rice with sauteed zucchini.

Re: January dinners
Mahi mahi and bbq chicken (ds doesnt eat fish anymore) and the chicken will be good bc there will be leftovers for him and Im working a bunch this weekend so good to have extra easy food around.
Idk if Ill do rice or quina with it. We do a lot of rice (because everyone likes it) and have not been successful with Quiana. so far people only love it cold on their salads. but Id really like to have another grain in the mix. Ive made it in the rice cooker, done with savory and sweet and zilch every time. Oh, Ive used it as a crust for quiche and that has also been successful. So they have eaten in 2 places but whenever its a side- nope, its no good. Anyone have any suggestions? Id make both to be safe but the rice will already be in the rice cooker so will have to do the quiana somewhere else. I know Im not spelling it correctly now the same every time. But I think you know what I mean.

Re: January dinners
Sorghum is good, too. i make it in the Instant Pot because it does take a long time otherwise.
Not sure what to make for dinner tonight. It's Fishy Friday. Littlest will only eat fish sticks. I'd love to have a fish chowder or a stew.
