Quick question about chicken i n IP
I want to cook a large quantity of chicken breast in the IP. Like 4.5 pounds.
Will it all fit? How long do I set it for?

Re: Quick question about chicken i n IP
It should fit. Are you doing whole breast, chunks, or bit sized pieces?

Whole, or maybe half pieces. Doesn't really matter.

Re: Quick question about chicken i n IP
Thawed, I'd do 15 - 20 minutes with 1/2 cup water. Chicken releases a lot of water so you don't need to start with much.
Frozen I'd do 20 for sure. Probably no extra water. I'd also do about 10 minutes NPR.

Re: Quick question about chicken i n IP
I used the poultry setting, actually. It was 15 minutes. I browned the chicken first, and it came out great.
Thank you, TM
