Wow, the board is back! HI

Hello everyone. I didn't realize that the board was back up and running. I hope to catch up with all the news of everyone.

Do we have any new little ones after we lost access to the board?

It has been eventful for us since August (I think that was the last time I was able to post.) Our youngest daughter got remarried. (She and the groom both got covid before the wedding, so we were not sure it would take place. She ended up in the Er because her immune system decided it would help her get over covid better by closing off her throat. We thought she was going to end up with surgery but thankfully the medication IV was able to reduce her tonsils so surgery was unnecessary. )

During the time that she was sick, our house had a huge plumbing problem on the day our oldest and our 2 grandsons were to fly in for the wedding. We had no water. When the plumber went to cut the pipe, our house had a huge, HUGE, power surge and we lost power during the humid heat. So, now 3 flying in from Germany and us with no water or power. (We ended up going a full week with no power in the heat.) God was gracious and come to find out the damage to the power line was due to when we had a tree fall on our roof last year that the insurance people did not catch. The electrician showed us the line and it ran water out of the house. He said it was a miracle we didn't catch fire.)

Youngest daughter caught pneumonia after covid............our 3 flew back to Germany. During the wedding our middle daughter flew in and surprised us all from CA.

We still have not gotten the house squared away as the trauma of August has caused our immune systems and the fibro to flare where we can't do much more than feed the animals and ourselves for now.

In December I lost one of my very good friends and it has been difficult to get through the grief. She reminded me so much of my sister that passed away and it sort of compounded that grief.

We are getting through pollen season and had to have 3 trees cut down near our house to prevent any damage in upcoming storms.

I think I have caught you up on our news (in case anyone was interested.) LOL

It's good to have the board back!
