The cutest origami gift box!
This box makes any gift more charming! With 12"x12" paper you could fit makeup items, maybe a pot of bath/body goodies or bar of soap?

Re: The cutest origami gift box!
I'm not sure why, but the first link didn't work for me. The second one did, though! What a neat box! My 13-year-old daughter loves to make origami. I'll have to show her that!

Re: The cutest origami gift box!
Oops! I think I fixed the link. Or search for it on YouTube by the title:
Origamibox - Geschenkbox - gift box I took an 8.5"x11" sheet of colored paper and cut it into an 8.5" square. It made such an adorable self-closing box!! The interior dimension is 2.5"x2". Using 12" square paper you get a box with an outer dimension of 4.5" x 3" and an inner capacity of 3" x 3". Ooh! By the way, if you start with a rectangular paper and trim the excess off one side to make it square, keep that extra strip. If you fold it in half lengthwise it makes a perfect belly band to securethe box. No tape necessary, just slide the ends into each other, like the way you close the box itself.
