Re: January dinners
teriyaki chicken with broccoli and carrots over rice.
Margaret has an infected tooth. She was scheduled to have it pulled on the 28th but then got sick and was running a fever that day so we had to cancel. It wasn't really bothering her at the time and we hoped the tooth would come out on its own. (its a loose baby tooth) However it still hasn't and now it is really bothering her. I'm going to call the dentist first thing in the morning and hopefully they can see her ASAP. I'll probably base tomorrows dinner around how she is feeling and possibly when she can be seen.

Re: January dinners
I actually have a picture of last night's dinner but I have no idea how to share pictures on the messageboard anymore. I used to use photobucket back in the day....
Anyway, it was sauteed onion mushroom and carrots, served over a bed of baby kale with chicken breast. So good!

Re: January dinners
I only know how to share pictures through Tapatalk. I used Photobucket back in the day too.
We're finally home from traveling and I'm about to pick up some groceries with croissants and chicken salad so that will be dinner tonight before we head to dd's soccer game. I found an app called Mealtime if anyone is interested. It has recipes, builds a grocery list and even let's you shop at your local store in-app. It's really well done. I'm considering paying for the premium version. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

Re: January dinners
We’re having chicken casserole tonight. It will take a few hours to cook, so I must remember to put it in the oven in plenty of time!

Re: January dinners
We ended up having shepherd's pie. Mine doesn't use cheese. I had mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes.

'Tis the time of year for viruses! So I made some immune boosting chicken noodle soup with homemade bone broth.

Last night was cashew lettuce wraps.
With one kiddo sick, I’m not sure what’s for dinner tonight. I have a whole chicken, just not sure I can thaw it for tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: January dinners
Tonight was rice and dal (masoor cooked with lots of garlic and turmeric, finished with coconut milk and fried onions in coconut oil).
