Default What are your favourite ground beef recipes?

it's been a while since we've had a thread like this. I'm always looking for new recipes to add to my rotation. No matter what I do it seems I always fall in to a rut.

What are your favourite meals to make with ground beef? Link to recipes a bonus.

My go to's:

Tacos
Homemade Hamburger Helper
Meat Loaf
Spaghetti and meatball
Ground beef stroganoff

Oven Nachos (layer on a cookie sheet tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef with salsa, black beans, jalapeņos, black olives, cheese)

Rice Bowls (rice on bottom, then seasoned ground beef and toppings like salsa, black beans, cheese, sour cream, lime juice.)

Yes, these are basically the same recipe with a different base. Taco salad too, the base being lettuce with chips on the side.

Chili

Sloppy Joes. I use this recipe https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/...recipe-1953228

Hamburger vegetable soup

I know some people use it for egg roll in a bowl. We use turkey or pork, though.

It is not tried and true, but I am trying this next week.

Chili
lasagna
Qdoba at home (I prep all the ingredients and everyone makes their own burrito, rice bowl, or salad)

I have a soup recipe that everyone loves and is super easy but I have to find it. I haven't made it since last winter.

Yesterday I made a Mexican ground beef cornbread casserole that everyone liked. I prepped two at once just as easily as I could have made one, so I froze one for another night.

I also try to crumble and brown ground beef before I freeze it. Saves so much time.

Spaghetti squash, ground beef, onions, garlic, herbs, crushed tomatoes, some cheddar on top. (You can add some greens too.) (I guess that's more my favorite spaghetti squash recipe.)

Chili! Add a bunch of extra veg and pureed pumpkin.

My general modus operandi is to throw a bunch of stuff together with whatever seasonings and decide if it goes with rice or pasta. One good secret ingredient is coconut milk.

I had never thought of that! We always have coconut milk on hand but the only thing I use it for is coconut curry. But you add it in to any sort of meat/vegetable stir fry type conconction to make it more creamy correct? I love that!

Beef and cabbage preferably with potatoes

I have a go-to Korean beef recipe that I serve over rice

Cuban-ish picadillo over rice - picadillo has onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, black beans

American-ish picadillo in corn tortillas - picadillo has onions, fried potatoes and Rotel

Mini meatloaves because they cook faster than a big one! I like making mozzarella stuffed ones

I usually double or quadruple the sauce ingredients (except the sugar) and add fresh broccoli to it.

Sorry, no. My mom makes them for me For our fam, I know she uses ground sirloin, diced onions and potatoes, generous salt and pepper. Served with loads of gravy on top. I've seen them with turnips and carrots, served with injected gravy or ketchup, or either on the side. She uses a regular pie crust but an amazing food truck I know uses more of a puff pastry.

Aw man! But someone else who makes them for you is even better than a recipe. That sounds delicious! I'm going to google and definitely try making them.

I also do live in Michigan and apparently pasties are a very famous thing in the UP (Upper Penninsula) so I probably should try them simply for that reason.

That is similar to the recipe I posted except with no zucchini noodles, so I am glad to know it is good.
