Thanks. This is a good reminder to ask her mom this week. She has had no accidents at my house in a long time and generally doesn't need any reminders.

I have one child that still wets the bed at a much older age. And also a sibling of mine did too. i am fascinated/perplexed by it. I'm always trying to figure things out medically/nutritionally and this is one that I ponder. Right now my theory is a vitamin A deficiency because this child also has very dry skin. Maybe zinc?

Is the girl still not staying dry all night? I've had one kid (besides big J who has autism and potty trained super super late) who was still bedwetting at 5, and we got her a pee alarm. I'd put panties on her, clip the pee alarm to the panties, then put a pull up over the panties. I told her when the alarm went off to get up and use the bathroom and then just spend the rest of the night in the pull up. She went from accidents every night to no more accidents ever again in just a week. Pee alarms are reasonably priced on Amazon.

Interestingly, she's still my kid who now gets up to use the bathroom in the night every night.

Their lives have settled down a great deal and she has transformed into this super cool four-year-old (turned four in January) with an imagination that has exploded in amazing ways. Haven't had an accident or need for a reminder here for a while.
