Scream free parenting
I am trying to organize my bookshelves and get rid of unneeded books (so hard for a book-loving homeschooler). I am wondering if this book is worth keeping.
The cover says: Screamfree Parenting: The Revolutionary Approach to Raising Kids by Keeping Your Cool by Hal Edward Runkel, LMFT

Noting that I read it MANY years ago when my teens were littles, I didn't find it helpful at all. It gave all the reasons why screaming and yelling at your kids wasn't great, which I already knew. It gave almost nothing in the way of how to work through your own issues that led to screaming/yelling.
I found other books much more hellpful.

Agree! It was definitely the lesser of punitive-minded parenting books which is why I read it, but didn't really help in the long run.
