March Meals
It's been awhile since we had a dinner thread. I could use some inspiration and new ideas. I'd love to hear what others are cooking!
We're having short ribs, polenta, and a salad for dinner tonight. We had pumpkin kibbeh, tiropitas, and a Greek salad last night.

Re: March Meals
Last night we had Loaded Baked Potato Soup and sourdough bread...healthy version, with cauliflower in it. DS ended up bringing over 3 friends from his football team so DH and I ate leftovers, haha.

Re: March Meals
Dh made homemade pizza tonight.
DH also made pasta dough for tomorrow, which is going to be a collaborative meal. He and Prima roll and cut the pasta, I make the sauces. DH asked for something with mushrooms, possibly a ragu, but the younger kids won't eat that. If I have time I'll make a pot of marinara and meatballs. If not, they love pesto.

I made a huge pot of marinara this afternoon, so we're having pasta. I have turkey Italian sausages to go with it.

Re: March Meals
That sounds delicious!
We're at a Speech and Debate Tournament for the next three days, so all our meals are going to be catch as catch can - primarily snacks and microwave meals. I've got a cooler with fruit, baby cucumbers, carrots, and celery sticks in the car. We shall see if anyone else eats the healthy stuff!

Have fun at your tournament! I’d love to know how it goes. Out next tournament is next week. We have club tonight and Shakespeare performances the next two nights. Pasta bar at club and I have no idea for show nights. Kids have to be there at 5:30 for 6:30 curtain call. Sunday, dh will be making our corned beef while dd17 and I are out. Friends offered tix to see a modern mash-up version of Sense and Sensibility. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Littlest''s co-op class is doing Midsummernight's Dream next week. Tournament was ....... pretty good, I think? This particular one was significantly smaller this year than last for some reason, so fewer speeches broke. Two speeches that broke to Finals for my kids at another tournament this season didn't go anywhere this time, BUT Prima's favorite speech, that didn't go anywhere last time, won First Place! The kids had fun, though. Tertia competed for the first time and Littlest was a hit at the Junior Tournament. We were supposed to have corned beef tonight, but I dropped the ball, so we're going to have it tomorrow. Tonight is Scrounge.
