YUM...Loose Tea! Who wants to talk tea?
What is your favorite flavor? (describe)
Where do you normally get it? I love the Matavana from Teavana...but I like so many others. I'm looking for other (less expensive) places to get it. |

My favorite is a green called Silver Dragon. I used to get it at a tea shop in Dallas. Haven't found a tea shop here yet.

Re: YUM...Loose Tea! Who wants to talk tea?
I mix a blend I call Garden Sani-tea because it is very calming. It has catnip, rose petals, spearmint and chamomile. I get the herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs. I also recently made a mix my husband calls Summer in Florida. It has orange mint, lemongrass, strawberry leaves and rooibos. One of my all time favorite tea isn't a blend. It's fresh chocolate mint. It's easy to grow so if you have a moist area in partial shade you can grow all you want for the price of one plant.

Re: YUM...Loose Tea! Who wants to talk tea?
I got a start from my local food co-op but you might be able to find it at a local garden center. It is also available online. Here is one place I found. Just be sure to get plants, not seeds, as I've read it isn't dependable from seed.

I love the peppermint tea from Tevana, though I can't have it too often without getting over-pepperminted.
Celestial Seasonings and World Market also have some of my favorite teas...now I want tea. |

Re: YUM...Loose Tea! Who wants to talk tea?
my new fav is Vanilla Coconut from Republic of Tea. I buy it thru Vitacost. It is sooo good!!
Eta; if anyone tries it, it's one of those teas you really have to follow the directions when steeping or it will taste bitter. |

There is no emot for drooling.
These all sound so yummy! We should do a tea swap or tea co-op!
