Re: what milk to buy?
Also try to ask around more locally if you can - look on bulletin boards at HFS or Farm Supply stores maybe or even if there is a local 4H chapter or Homeschool email list, you may want to post an ad saying you are looking for a source.Yrs ago I had a wonderful source of goats milk for 1.00 per gallon.A HSing mom that as raising goats and her own 4 kids were drinking the milk so I knew she was very careful Most of the people on that list in our area charge high prices sadly.........

Re: what milk to buy?
Here's my order of milk:
Local Organic* Raw Local Organic Gently Pasteurized NonHomoginized Local Organic Gently Pasteurized Homoginized Local Organic UltraPasteurized (Organic Valley is local to *you*) There's a new *grass fed organic humane* brand at Super Target.... I'd drink that I won't drink New Horizon or the Grocery Store brands of organic. It's my understanding that they feed organic grain (cows should get grass) and a little better than factory farms. If nothing else is available - I'd buy my local brand of milk that is rBh free |
