What's for supper in November?
Please share with us what you are having for supper. By sharing together, we can come up with some awesome new ideas for our own menus.
Beef noodle soup with French bread, which reminds me, I need to get it out of the freezer.

Re: What's for supper in November?
My mother in law took the kids out for dinner, so I threw some garlic, sliced red onion, shredded cabbage, julienned carrots and julienned zucchini in a cast iron frying pan with some coconut oil and dh and I feasted. I also made a spinach salad on the side. SO good.

Re: What's for supper in November?
Leftover chinese food from dinner out last night. It makes the $ so much more acceptable knowing I can get 2 meals out of it.
Tomorrow is pasta night with our missional community. I bring a pot, pasta to cook and a pan of sauce. Might bring roasted brussel sprouts too.

Re: What's for supper in November?
Oh my goodness, dinner at our friends' house was faaaaabulous. I am miserable from overeating. They started smoking ridiculous amounts of pork at 9PM last night--shoulder, tenderloin, ribs. All were amazing. Sweet cornbread. I don't even like greens, but I put some on my plate b/c I felt like I should, and even those were decent. And Ghirardelli brownies for dessert.

I'm going to try the cream cheese chicken taquitos recipe that 2sunshines posted on her FB recently today.

What's for supper in November?
Quote:
Met with my family's approval except it needs more seasoning. Next time I'm just going to put 2 tablespoons (essentially doubling the seasoning) of our homemade taco seasoning. We like our food with "taste."

Re: What's for supper in November?
Roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and I might try Brussels sprouts... Never eaten them before, but I bought some at the store.

Re: What's for supper in November?
Autumn, glad you liked it. My kids are spice wimps, so they like it as written, but you could certainly add in a variety of other things to up the taste.
We had a DELICIOUS dinner. Every single morsel was gobbled up. Grilled wild caught sockeye salmon. Roasted broccoli, carrots, onion and garlic. Zucchini strips sauteed with cherry tomatoes and garlic. Roasted potatoes. Then grapes smothered in organic plain yogurt for dessert. Amazingly delicious. THIS is precisely why I NEVER EVER eat out. No way a restaurant (without paying an insane amount of money) can EVER make a meal more delicious than this.

We had potatoes with chicken, cheese, BBQ sauce, and green beans. Coleslaw on the side.
